099 TSUMURA Shokenchuto Extract Granules are a Kampo (Japanese traditional herbal) medicine used for children’s abdominal pain and fatigue. They are especially suitable for children who catch colds easily, have poor appetite, or generally have weak digestion.

- Abdominal pain caused by excessive tension (sudden stomach pain with bloating due to stress)
- Nervous, easily affected by changes in environment or stress
- Children who wet the bed or wake crying at night due to stress or environmental changes
Efficacy / effectiveness
Used for children with weak constitution, fatigue, nervousness, chronic gastroenteritis, bedwetting, and night crying.
Generally indicated for individuals with frailty and easy fatigability who appear pale and present with symptoms such as abdominal pain, palpitations, hot or cold sensations in the limbs, and frequent or excessive urination.
Dosing / Administration
- In general, for adults, divide 15.0 g daily into 2 to 3 divided doses and drink with water or lukewarm water before or between meals. The dose may be adjusted according to your age, weight and symptoms. Be sure to follow your doctor’s instructions.
- If you miss a dose, take it when you notice. However, if the next drink comes within about 2 hours, skip it and drink at the next designated time. Do not take two doses at once.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you accidentally drank too much.
- Do not stop drinking at your own discretion without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions / Side Effects
- If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, redness and itch. If you notice any of these symptoms, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
In rare cases, the following symptoms may appear, which may be the initial symptoms of the side effects shown in [].In such cases, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately.
- Reduced urine output, swelling of face and limbs, heavy eyelids, stiff hands [pseudoaldosteronism]
- The body is sluggish and the limbs are not strong, the limbs are tight, and the limbs are numb [myopathy]
