Product Summary

Various substances in the body such as histamine and leukotrienes are involved in the onset of allergies. This medicine improves allergic symptoms by suppressing such substances. Effective for sneezing, runny nose, and stuffy nose. However, the cause of allergies cannot be cured.

In atopic dermatitis, it can be expected to reduce swelling. It is also suitable for mild asthma, but in this case it is used as an adjunct to other drugs.

It suppresses keloids that occur after wounds and has the function of healing wounds cleanly. For this reason, it may be prescribed after trauma, burns, or surgery.

By suppressing the release of chemical mediators such as histamine, allergic reactions are suppressed. It also suppresses cytokines and active oxygen to prevent keloids on wounds.

Efficacy / effectiveness

This medicine exerts an anti-allergic effect by suppressing the release of chemical mediators (histamine, leukotriene, etc.) involved in allergic reactions from mast cells, and also inhibits collagen synthesis to prevent keloid symptoms.

It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, keloids and hypertrophic scars.
However, when used to treat bronchial asthma, it is not a medicine that quickly relieves attacks or symptoms that have already occurred.

Dosing / Administration

In general, for dosage regimen: For adults, take 1 capsule (100 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day. The dosage should be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor and pharmacist.

If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions / Side Effects

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include nausea, abdominal pain, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, diarrhea, rash and pollakiuria. If you notice any of these symptoms, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

  • You have previously experienced allergic symptoms such as itching or rashes from medicine or food. You have liver or kidney problems.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are using other medicines (they may strengthen or weaken each other’s effects, so be careful with other over-the-counter medicines and foods you are using as well).

The following symptoms may rarely occur and may be early symptoms of the side effects shown in [ ].
If this occurs, stop using the drug and consult a doctor immediately.

  • Frequent urination, painful urination, hematuria [cystitis-like symptoms]
  • General fatigue, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]
  • Swelling, headache, decreased urine volume [renal dysfunction]
  • Bleeding tendency, sore throat, fever [leukopenia, thrombocytopenia]
