Product Summary
KETAS is a medicine that has both anti-allergic effects and cerebral circulation improving effects.
When KETAS is used for asthma, it is usually used in combination with other asthma medications because it is weak when taken alone.
KETAS improves cerebral blood flow and energy metabolism, making it suitable for treating dizziness after cerebral infarction.
Efficacy / effectiveness
By inhibiting phosphodiesterase activity, it suppresses inflammation in the airways and makes asthma attacks and symptoms less likely to occur. It also improves blood flow to the brain and suppresses platelet aggregation, improving dizziness.
It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma and improve dizziness caused by chronic cerebral circulatory disorders associated with the aftereffects of cerebral infarction. However, in the case of bronchial asthma, it is not a drug that quickly calms an asthma attack that has already begun.
Dosing / Administration
- Bronchial asthma: In general, adults take 1 capsule (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice daily.
Dizziness due to cerebral circulatory disorder: In general, adults take 1 capsule (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, three times daily, but the dosage may be increased or decreased according to the symptoms.
In either case, be sure to follow the instructions given to you. - Since KETAS is a formulation in which the release of the active ingredient is controlled, do not take the medicine by removing the contents from the capsule.
