TSUMURA 106 Unkeito is a Kampo (Japanese traditional herbal) medicine commonly used for women. It is often prescribed for gynecological problems such as irregular menstruation, painful periods, and menopausal symptoms in people who are physically weak with low pulse and abdominal strength.
It is considered suitable for those with cold sensitivity who also experience hot sensations in the hands and feet, and dryness of the lips.
It may also be used to improve skin symptoms such as dryness, rough skin, and chapped skin.

Efficacy / effectiveness

It is especially used for women’s diseases, but it is also often used for cold feet (cooling diseases in summer, etc.) and chilblains.

Dosing / Administration
- In general, for adults, take 7.5 g a day orally in 2 or 3 divided doses with cold or lukewarm water before or between meals. The dosage may be adjusted according to your age, body weight and symptoms. Strictly follow your instructions.
- If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if the next dose is within two hours, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. You should not take two doses at one time.
- If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions / Side Effects
- If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, redness, itching, hives, loss of appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea and diarrhea. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
